Server may be Slow for a while its running on a laptop!
Hi All,
With Any Luck… I will be moving house soon and as such its time for me to have a tidy up in the house I’m in. The server the website (and all my other geek stuff sits on) costs me a fortune to run! and as such, the mrs doesn’t like it!
As happy compromises go, i’ve moved it from a great big power hungry monster machine to a little “asus eee” (the 4gb one! google it and you won’t believe it!! its basicaly one of the smallest laptops around and it helped start the netbook revolution!).
Any way, the site is likely to be down a lot for a little while until I’ve sorted the backups and other stuff out, and then there is move day! I’m really not looking forward to that!!

It’s that time of year when everyone is actually out with there friends and it seems like the club is neglected…
If you feel like me, start a post, talk on the forum, give me a ring and i’ll post it for you, the server all this sits on is going to have to be down sized soon, we don’t need the performance I’ve got and its killing my electricity bill..
We’ll be trying to organise another club meet soon hopefully when the sun is shining and all is well.
I’ve been trying to book JAE tickets and hopefully four of these should arrive shortly. (That’s a really poor turnout!) Still wanna come? RING ME, MAIL ME, but be quick!! (Aug 15th and later and I’ll be begging organisers again)
